Serge Aurier open to Arsenal transfer?

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier is open to joining Arsenal on a free transfer this month.
The right-back was released by Spurs on deadline day, and he is now free to join another club at any point.
According to Sky Sports, the defender prefers to stay in England, and would welcome a move to the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's side were actively searching a right-back this summer, and they eventually signed Takehiro Tomiyasu.
They are unlikely to pursue another right-back as things stand unless there is a possible departure in the coming days.
The Turkish and Russian transfer windows are still open while Cedric Soares has been linked with a potential exit.
The Gunners are still well covered in the right-back position with Calum Chambers and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Sol Campbell was the last player to cross the divide to join the Gunners. It appears unlikely that Aurier will be the next.
However, this summer has been full of surprises and nothing can be ruled out.
