Liverpool want to sign Villarreal star in January
Liverpool are keen on signing Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Merseyside giants were keeping tabs on Danjuma earlier this year, but he ended up joining Villarreal from Bournemouth.
He has since enjoyed a terrific spell with seven goals and two assists across all competitions for the Yellow Submarines.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Reds have reignited their interest in Danjuma on the back of his recent performances.
While Villarreal have no plans of selling him anytime soon, the Reds could make an ambitious approach in the New Year.
The Reds will lose both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for a few weeks in January due to African Cup of Nations duty.
They have Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino in reserve, but Jurgen Klopp wants to add more quality in the final third.
It appears unlikely that the club will land Danjuma unless they make a significant bid of around £45m for his services.
