Manchester United want to sign Barcelona midfielder?

Manchester United could make an approach to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong next summer.

The Red Devils are likely to lose the services of Paul Pogba soon with his contract expiring in seven months.

They are already lining up suitable replacements, and Marca claims that De Jong is one of the top names on their radar.

The Dutchman has been a key figure for the Blaugrana in recent years, but he could be sold amid their financial concerns.

He is valued at around £75m, and it is claimed that the Red Devils would be willing to match the price tag next summer.

De Jong has also been linked with Juventus, but the Serie A outfit are unlikely to afford a straight-cash agreement.

Aside from De Jong, the Blaugrana could also sanction the sale of Philippe Coutinho, whose contract expires in June 2023.

Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto appear likely to leave on free transfers when their deals expire next summer.
