Rodon wants to leave Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Joe Rodon is determined to leave the club when the transfer window reopens next month.

The Welshman struggled for regular game time under ex-boss Nuno Espirito Santo, and his situation has not improved under Antonio Conte.

Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Ben Davies have all been preferred ahead of him in the back three by the Italian.

The 24-year-old has made the bench on just two occasions since Conte took charge, and he appears determined to move on.

According to Football Insider, he is 100 percent set on leaving the north London club in January to secure regular game time.

The former Swansea City man is open to any kind of move, but wants to be playing regularly ahead of the World Cup play-offs.

Wales have been handed a good chance of making the World Cup next winter. They face Austria at home in the semi-final.

If they manage to progress, they will come up against either Scotland or Ukraine for a place in the World Cup in Qatar.
