Kepa to seal Serie A move?

Lazio are interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to Il Messaggero.

The Serie A outfit currently have Pepe Reina and Thomas Strakosha as the regular goalkeeping options.

Strakosha has been the back-up to Reina for some time, but the latter could hang up his boots soon.

Hence, the club are eyeing a shot-stopper and it is claimed that manager Maurizio Sarri wants Arrizabalaga.

Arrizabalaga had a mixed relationship with Sarri at Chelsea, but the Italian is still keen on a potential reunion.

The Spain international has made just five appearances this term as an understudy to Edouard Mendy.

His situation is unlikely to improve soon, and Lazio have their sights on pursuing his services next summer.

The Blues bought Arrizabalaga for a hefty £71m fee, but they are unlikely to receive anything close to that figure.

It has been claimed that they are looking for £30m to sell the Spaniard, who is eager to leave the club next season.
