Luis Suarez to make dramatic return to Premier League?
Explosive striker Luis Suarez has hinted that he is ready to return to England, with a possible move to Aston Villa on the cards. Villa are managed by Suarez's former teammate Steven Gerrard, and Suarez is out of contract shortly.
The 34-year-old has been a revelation in Spain since leaving Liverpool in 2014, and Gerrard hopes to link back up again with the Uruguay international at Villa Park.
Suarez last season helped Atletico Madrid to the La Liga title and is seen as one of the best striker's in the world, even at 34.
Suarez will see his deal at Atleti expire this summer, but Aston Villa would like to make their move for the player right away, with a transfer fee of 5 million euros suggested.
The indifferent form of Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins this season has seen Gerrard looking for alternative attacking options, whilst the arrival of Philippe Coutinho is sure to boost the club's profile abroad.
Suarez has already been in approached by his former club in the Netherlands, Ajax, with regards to a summer move, but also the player himself has suggested that he could return to his home country of Uruguay for one more stint.
