Tottenham Hotspur to sign former Chelsea ace?
Tottenham Hotspur are considering a potential move for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, according to The Mirror.
The north London giants have been unsuccessful in bolstering their attack this month after being snubbed by several players.
They were initially keen on Dusan Vlahovic, but the Serbian opted to secure a big-money move to Juventus from Fiorentina.
Since then, they have failed with approaches for Luis Diaz and Adama Traore. The latter has recently rejoined Barcelona.
They are now desperate for late reinforcements before Monday's transfer deadline, and Morata could be an option for them.
The Spain international was keen on joining Barcelona earlier this month, but the Catalan giants could not afford a permanent deal.
Morata has now been linked with a Premier League comeback. He could relish a reunion with Spurs head coach Antonio Conte.
Conte was responsible for signing Morata at Chelsea when he was their manager. He had a mixed spell with just 24 goals from 72 games.
