Tottenham exodus as Gil, Ndombele set to depart
Tottenham will allow Bryan Gil to leave the club for Valencia on loan until the end of the season, whilst Tanguy Ndombele looks set to rejoin former club Lyon. Both midfielders have fallen out of favour since Antonio Conte arrived at White Hart Lane.
It is understood that Conte must sell players before he can buy, and thus both Ndombele and Gil will be set for the exit door.
The duo had both arrived at Tottenham with high hopes, but neither appears to have forced their way in to Conte's plans since the Italian arrived at the North London club.
Gil will join Valencia with a view to a permanent transfer, whilst Ndombele is likely to join Lyon on transfer deadline day to link up with his former club. Ndombele has endured a torrid time at the Lane, with fans giving the player a difficult time for his defensive work.
Spurs have yet to sign any new players during this transfer window, but have missed out on the signings of of Luis Diaz from Porto, who instead opted for Liverpool; whilst other target Adama Traore has moved to Barcelona.
