Chelsea may have already signed Bayern Munich ace
Chelsea may have won the race to sign Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Blues could lose Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta when their contracts expire in June.
This could force them to enter the transfer market for central defenders, but it appears they may have already struck a deal with Sule.
Sule has five months remaining on his contract with Bayern, and he has no plans of continuing with the club beyond that period.
In an interview with Sport1, his agent has now confirmed that a deal has been reached with another club, but refused to disclose the name.
Chelsea and Newcastle United have been heavily linked with Sule, and the former have been deemed as favourites to sign him for a while.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has been a huge admirer of the German, and he could finally get to work with the 26-year-old next season.
