Chelsea handed injury boost ahead of Lille clash
Chelsea have been handed a timely injury boost ahead of their Champions League encounter against Lille on Tuesday.
The Blues were without Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Cesar Azpilicueta for the recent Premier League win at Crystal Palace.
Mount and Hudson-Odoi have yet to return to first-team training after ankle and Achilles injuries, but Azpilicueta could be available tomorrow.
The Spaniard was out of the recent London derby with a groin problem, but has now returned to team training. He will be assessed before the game.
The Blues entertain Lille in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie. They should be favourites amid the poor form of Les Dogues.
Lille have had a poor defence of their league title, and they are currently languishing in the 11th spot, 23 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blues can't take them lightly with several match-winners in their squad, but they will be disappointed if they don't secure a first leg advantage.
