Man Utd looking to appoint ex-Chelsea boss?
Manchester United have earmarked Carlo Ancelotti as a potential candidate to become their next head coach.
The Red Devils are currently under interim boss Ralf Rangnick, who will step down at the end of the campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag and Luis Enrique are among names on their wishlist, but none may sign for them.
Pochettino is said to be interested in the Real Madrid job with Ancelotti likely to quit his position during the summer.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag is not impressed by United's management while Enrique is committed to Spain until the World Cup.
Amidst this, Ancelotti has emerged on their radar. The Italian tactician has a close personal relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson.
Sir Alex has reportedly recommended him to CEO Richard Arnold, who has been tasked with the job of finding the next manager.
Ancelotti has Premier League experience with Chelsea and Everton. He left the Toffees last summer when Madrid offered him to return.
