Chelsea enter race for Gabriel Jesus?

Gabriel Jesus news

Jesus to Chelsea?

Chelsea could reportedly compete with Arsenal to sign Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus this summer.

Jesus had an impressive 2021/22 season with the Cityzens, registering 13 goals and 12 assists from 41 appearances in all competitions.

However, he is likely to leave the club this summer, considering the arrivals of Erling Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez for next season.

Arsenal have been touted as favourites to sign him for some period of time, but AS cites that the Blues could offer stiff competition to them.

Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on reinforcing the club's attack after another frustrating season where they lacked the cutting edge.

The likes of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech could be shown the exit door, thereby helping the Blues recoup additional transfer funds.

Jesus is valued at around £50 million by the Cityzens. Champions League football could provide the Blues with a boost over the Gunners.

Aside from the Premier League, Juventus are interested in the Palmeiras graduate, but he has been fancied to stay in the Premier League.
