West Ham pushing to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja
West Ham United are pushing to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja on a permanent deal, Fabrizio Romano reports.
The Albanian star spent the previous campaign on loan with Southampton, bagging nine goals and one assist from 38 games.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has plans to integrate him into the squad, but Broja seems intent on leaving to play regular football.
As per Romano, the Hammers have offered around £30 million for the Blues graduate, and they are now awaiting a response.
Broja has already agreed personal terms over a transfer, and it is upto the Blues to negotiate a possible buy-back clause for Broja.
The 20-year-old is highly-rated by the west London giants, but he is currently down the pecking order for a starting role.
Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Raheem Sterling are expected to be preferred ahead of him by Tuchel, and it makes sense to move on.
At West Ham, Broja will face direct competition from Michail Antonio, and should fancy his prospects of starting regularly.
