Timo Werner transfer listed by Chelsea

Timo Werner is one of 15 players that have been transfer listed by Chelsea, according to The Mirror.

The Germany international joined the Blues from RB Leipzig with a big reputation two years ago, but has failed to live up to his hype.

He has registered a good tally of 23 goals and 21 assists from 86 games, but has been guilty of missing several clear-cut scoring chances.

This has led to plenty of criticism from fans, and it is now reported that the Blues are prepared to sanction his departure this summer.

Hakim Ziyech was another player that arrived in the summer of 2020 with Werner, but he has likewise been a huge disappointment.

While he has impressed in phases, there has been a lack of consistency. He and Werner have failed to nail down starting roles.

With the arrival of Raheem Sterling, their chances of starting should fade further. AC Milan are already in talks to sign Ziyech.
