Man Utd suffer big injury blow ahead of Brighton game
Manchester United have suffered a big injury blow ahead of their Premier League opener against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
The Red Devils start their league campaign against the Seagulls at home on Sunday, but manager Erik ten Hag won't have a full squad at his disposal.
Anthony Martial sustained a minor hamstring injury against Atletico in Oslo last weekend, and he has yet to recover from the untimely setback.
Hence, he has been ruled out of the upcoming encounter, and could also be missing for the west London trip to face Brentford next weekend.
United anticipate that he could be fit for the Liverpool game thereafter.
The news should come as a big blow for the Red Devils, considering Martial had been in sparkling form for the club during the recent pre-season.
The 26-year-old was expected to lead the line against Brighton ahead of Ronaldo, but the latter is now set to start despite questions over his future.
