Chelsea still want to sign Declan Rice?
Chelsea have not given up on signing West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice despite the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel was dismissed from the head coach position earlier this month, and the Blues are now managed by Graham Potter.
Despite this, the west London giants have not changed their transfer targets, and continue to remain long-term admirers of Rice.
According to Dean Jones, Tuchel's exit won't affect the Blues' stance on Rice, and they will look to sign him at the right time.
He told GiveMeSport: "Thomas Tuchel's departure won't really affect Chelsea's vision of signing Declan Rice."
"There are still people that remain within the club that are set on going for Declan Rice when the time arrives."
Chelsea have made a disappointing start to the Premier League campaign, and have registered just 10 points from six matches.
In the Champions League, they have likewise struggled, picking up just one point from their first two group stage encounters.
