'Did really well': Graham Potter happy with one Chelsea star
Chelsea manager Graham Potter was delighted with the performance of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga against Crystal Palace.
The Blues returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over the Eagles, but they had to do it the hard way with limited chances.
A 90th minute stunner from Conor Gallagher sealed the win, and speaking after the game, Potter reserved special praise for Arrizabalaga.
The Spaniard has been the back-up goalkeeper over the past two seasons, but he has been asked to step up with Edouard Mendy injured.
Arrizabalaga made the most of the opportunity yesterday with some key saves, and Potter acknowledged his efforts after the derby.
He said: "I thought he did really well. He made a couple of big saves but I thought his distribution and decision making was also strong.
"Ultimately, we need players to step up and I feel he did that today."
Chelsea are currently on 13 points in the Premier League, one behind Brighton & Hove Albion, who occupy the final Champions League spot.
