Man Utd eyeing move for Alvaro Morata?
Manchester United have identified Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata as a potential solution during the January transfer window.
The Spaniard has been long linked with a move to United. He was initially on their radar in 2017 before Chelsea signed him.
Morata was with the Blues for just 18 months and he has since spent time playing for Atletico as well as Juventus (on loan).
Ahead of January, it is now reported that United are eyeing a new striker and they could consider an approach to sign Morata.
Morata has never been a prolific goalscorer during his career but his work rate and ability to link up play has been impressive.
United could see him as a stop-gap signing until the summer when the hierarchy could be prepared to spend on a marquee striker.
Benfica's Goncalo Ramos and Napoli's Victor Osimhen are on United's radar, but both of them will cost in excess of €100 million.
With Financial Fair Play concerns at the moment, the Red Devils don't have plans of spending such a fee until the end of the campaign.
