Man Utd make Dean Henderson decision for Carabao Cup tie
Manchester United have made it clear that goalkeeper Dean Henderson won't be facing them in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
The Red Devils recently sealed their berth into the last four of the competition with a comfortable 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic.
They are now scheduled to face Nottingham Forest in a double-legged semi-final and have already been handed a big advantage.
Henderson is currently on loan at Forest from the Red Devils. United can allow him to play against them, but won't do so.
The England international will no doubt be frustrated, but United are quite clear that they don't want to boost Forest's chances.
Henderson has been a revelation for Forest this campaign. He won them the penalty shoot-out against Wolves with two saves.
In his absence, United should be overwhelming favourites to beat Forest across two legs to reach the final at the Wembley.
They could face either Newcastle United or Southampton on February 26. United are aiming for a first trophy in six years.
