Arsenal midfielder makes Crystal Palace loan switch
Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has joined Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the campaign.
The Belgium international has had a difficult season with the Gunners and he has been a regular on the bench.
His performances have also been unimpressive and the Gunners have now sanctioned his loan move to Palace.
The deal won't have any option to buy, but Lokonga has the opportunity to show that he can shine in the Premier League.
His lack of concentration has been criticised during his time at Arsenal and he now has the chance to redeem himself.
Arsenal have compensated Lokonga's exit with the signing of Jorginho on a permanent basis from rivals Chelsea.
The Italian star will be the Gunners' third choice central midfielder behind Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.
Emile Smith Rowe and Fabio Vieira are likely to provide additional back-up in case of an injury crisis this term.
Mikel Arteta also has the option of playing Ben White or Oleksandr Zinchenko in midfield if required.
