Chelsea make decision on Luis Enrique
Chelsea have reportedly cooled their interest in appointing Luis Enrique as their next manager.
The Blues currently have Frank Lampard on interim charge but he will be replaced at the end of the season.
Enrique recently spoke with Chelsea in London over the vacancy but it appears he is no longer in contention now.
The club's owners were not pleased with the demands of the Spaniard and prefer to appoint someone else.
As things stand, Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino are among candidates in the running for the job.
Nagelsmann is deemed as the front-runner but the owners don't want to rush with their decision at the moment.
After the failure of Graham Potter, they plan to conduct a thorough process before appointing their next head coach.
Chelsea are currently 11th in the Premier League with 39 points and are assured of missing out on the top four.
There is also a high possibility that they won't be playing any form of European football during next season.
