Man City to make surprise swoop for Arsenal defender?

Manchester United have been linked with a surprise swoop for Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney this summer.

The Cityzens started the season with Joao Cancelo and Nathan Ake as their left-back options but the former was loaned out to Bayern in January.

Cancelo is expected to return to the Cityzens this summer but reports claim that he has his sights on pursuing a fresh challenge once more.

This will force the club to spend on another left-back and Fichajes report that they could make a surprise approach for Tierney from Arsenal.

The Scotland ace has fallen down the pecking order with the Gunners and he has only started this season when Oleksandr Zinchenko has been injured.

Hence, he could push for the exit door this summer. Newcastle United are keen but Man City would be a more lucrative destination for him.

Arsenal will reportedly demand around £30 million to part ways with Tierney. Nuno Tavares, who is away on loan, could succeed him at Arsenal.
