Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reluctant to accept a pay-cut to leave the club this summer.

The England international has been a squad player for the Blues this term and the club are open to offloading him.

AC Milan are one of his main admirers but a transfer largely depends on Loftus-Cheek accepting a pay-cut.

The midfielder is currently on £150,000-a-week and it is claimed that he has no plans of reducing his salary.

This could be a huge stumbling block for the Blues, who are eager to offload fringe players to recoup funds.

Loftus-Cheek's current deal with the club expires at the end of the next season but there is a 12-month option.

Chelsea will be hoping that their graduate will change his stance in the coming months to facilitate his exit.

Aside from Loftus-Cheek, the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech could leave.

The Blues are aiming to recoup most of their funds by the end of June such that they can balance their books as well.
