Thomas Partey on his way to Serie A this summer?

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey could make a potential move to Serie A this summer, as per the Daily Mirror.

The Ghana international has been a mainstay in the club's midfield but he has recently been in-and-out of the line-up.

Mikel Arteta is clearly planning a major midfield rebuild and it is reported that Partey could leave alongside Granit Xhaka.

Xhaka has already agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen and he is expected to leave at the end of the season.

He could be followed by Partey, who is no longer an indispensable figure.

Arsenal are plotting to bring in three midfielders in the next transfer window and all of them could be Premier League based.

Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan is one of the top names on their radar. He could be available as a free agent this summer.

Meanwhile, West Ham United's Declan Rice and Chelsea's Mason Mount have also been identified as a top targets by the Gunners.
