Man Utd to sign Barcelona star after injury crisis?

Manchester United are interested in signing Barcelona left-back Marcos Alonso following an injury crisis at the club.

Neither player is expected to return before November and this has urged the club to invest on another left-back in the coming days.

The Red Devils have discussed a possible move for Marc Cucurella with Chelsea, but they also have Alonso on their radar.

The Spaniard was a huge success during his time in the Premier League with the Blues. He made several goal involvements.

However, the defensive side of his game was unconvincing and this could be a potential drawback for the club if they land him.

Alonso started in the recent 4-3 win over Villarreal on the road. He played with Alejandro Balde being sidelined with an injury.

Barcelona could be reluctant to sanction his exit in the coming days.
