Mauricio Pochettino confirms three Chelsea injuries after Everton loss

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed a triple injury blow following the 2-0 Premier League defeat at Everton on Sunday.
The Blues had another disappointing outing away from home and they received further bad news with Reece James suffering a hamstring injury in the opening half.
Speaking after the game, Pochettino confirmed that the captain picked up the injury and does not know the severity of the problem, he said: "Reece felt something in his hamstring. For sure he’s injured, but we don’t know how serious it is."
He added that Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella were also substituted during the game with injuries of their own, but the Argentine was hopeful that their issues were not big.
He added: 'Robert Sanchez suffered a problem at Manchester United, it was an issue with his knee. That is the same for Marc Cucurella, who twisted his ankle. We hope that these issues are not big."
Chelsea have been in dreadful form in the Premier League and they are currently 12th in the table behind London rivals Fulham and Brentford.
They host Sheffield United in the top-flight next weekend and there is no guarantee that they will come on top against the Blades with a win.
