Arsenal linked with shock move for Liverpool midfielder
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones at the end of the current campaign.
The Gunners reinforced their midfield with the signings of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz in the last transfer window.
Both players have impressed with key goal contributions, but manager Mikel Arteta is eyeing more quality in midfield.
He is apparently a huge admirer of Jones of Liverpool and the Gunners could make a surprise swoop for him next summer.
Jones has been in-and-out of the starting XI at Anfield and he could be persuaded to join with assured playing time.
However, there is no guarantee that Liverpool will be tempted to sell him, considering he has a contract until June 2027.
The Merseyside giants could hold out for a big transfer fee to contemplate the prospect of losing their academy graduate.
Arsenal and Liverpool have done business in the past. The Reds most recently signed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from the north London giants.
