Arsenal eyeing move for Bryan Mbeumo - Fabrizio Romano
Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo during the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners are expected to spend big in the coming weeks with manager Mikel Arteta determined to bolster the squad for a strong title challenge.
They have already agreed to sign midfielder Martin Zubimendi and the focus could now lie on strengthening the forward department for next season.
Romano claims that Arsenal are monitoring Mbeumo, who netted a stunning 20 goals alongside eight assists in the Premier League last term.
The Cameroonian star has been touted to leave the Bees for a bigger challenge. He could be available for a package of around £60 million.
Manchester United and Newcastle United have already held talks with his representatives, but Arsenal could offer stiff competition in the race.
Mbeumo is a right winger by trade. Arsenal have the position well covered with Bukayo Saka. He may have to adapt to the left wing role at the club.
