Chelsea make Emiliano Martinez transfer decision

Chelsea are not exploring a move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Blues had a good 2024/25 Premier League campaign as they qualified for the Champions League with a fourth-place finish.
Despite this, they had plenty of concerns in the goalkeeping department. Robert Sanchez made multiple errors leading to goals.
This has spread speculation that he could be replaced. Martinez has been linked with the Blues, but Jacobs claims that the Argentina international is not a target for the west London giants.
He said: "Chelsea are not exploring a deal for Emi Martinez. They have respect for the player, but he is not a target."
Martinez has his sights on pursuing a bigger challenge away from the Villans. Manchester United have also been linked with his services.
The Red Devils have established contact with his agent right from January, but a deal depends on them sanctioning the sale of Andre Onana.
