Newcastle eyeing move for Chelsea attacker?
Newcastle United are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku this summer.
The Magpies are currently uncertain over the future of Alexander Isak, who is pushing for a move to Liverpool.
The Swede is training away from the first-team and has no desire to play for the Tyneside outfit going forward.
Amidst this, the Magpies are looking for reinforcements and they plan to sign at least two strikers before letting Isak go.
Brentford's Yoane Wissa is the opening target. Nkunku has now emerged as an alternative option for manager Eddie Howe.
Chelsea are open to finalising a permanent deal for the Frenchman as they are determined to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
The Blues are keen to reduce the squad depth first before pursuing a deal for the Netherlands international this summer.
Simons has already agreed personal terms with the Blues, and he is waiting for the clubs to finalise a transfer agreement.
