Chelsea eyeing deal for Belgian attacker
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Leandro Trossard in January.
The Belgian star has been in superb form for the Seagulls this term, bagging seven goals and one assist from 12 games.
His form has caught the eye of the Blues and The Sun report that manager Graham Potter is keen on a reunion in the New Year.
Trossard's current deal with the Seagulls expires in June 2023, but the South Coast side have the option to extend for another 12 months.
Hence, they are still in a good position to command a fee and they could wait until after the World Cup to place a price tag on him.
Trossard has previously acknowledged that he would like to make the next step in his career amid interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
His reputation could be enhanced by a top showing at the World Cup. He is expected to be picked by Belgium boss Roberto Martinez.
