Chelsea are planning a summer swoop for unsettled Liverpool striker Christian Benteke. The Belgian had a dismal debut season with the Reds following his move from Aston Villa.
The 25-year-old struggled to hold on to a regular starting place last term with manager Jurgen Klopp preferring the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino ahead of him for the centre-forward role.
According to The Times, Blues boss Antonio Conte is eager to pursue a deal for the Belgian marksman with a move for Juventus' Alvaro Morata being much more complicated.
It is also thought that the Reds could cash in on their player as he is unlikely to play a huge part under Klopp next season.
Benteke made just 15 league starts for the Reds during the previous league campaign.
