Predicted Chelsea lineup (3-4-3) vs Arsenal, Kante and Caballero start

01 August 2020 - 16:02

Chelsea are set to face Arsenal in the FA Cup final this evening. The Blues ended their Premier League season on a good note by securing a top-four spot and they now have the opportunity to win their first piece of silverware under Frank Lampard.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga was dropped for the recent Wolves clash following a series of average performances between the sticks. Willy Caballero produced a solid display with a clean sheet last weekend and he should start the final.

The back three should remain the same from recent games. Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Cesar Azpilicueta should retain their positions. Likewise, Reece James and Marcos Alonso are expected to start in the right and left wing-back positions respectively.

N'Golo Kante has been deemed fit for the encounter following a month-long lay-off because of a hamstring problem. He could return to the starting lineup for the Wembley showdown. We are fancying him to accompany Mateo Kovacic in the centre of the park.

The frontline could remain unchanged from the 2-0 win over Wolves. Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount should retain their places outwide with Olivier Giroud leading the line. Giroud is currently experiencing one of his best scoring phases and has scored in each of his previous six starts.

Predicted Lineup (3-4-3): Willy Caballero; Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger; Reece James, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Marcos Alonso; Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud.
