Inter Milan eye move for Man Utd's Nemanja Vidic
Inter Milan could make a move for Serbian international defender Nemanja Vidic if the defender is not a part of new Manchester United manager David Moyes' long term plans.
The centre back has been an influential part of Man Utd's first team for over 7 years under Sir Alex Ferguson, but it is believed the centre back is seeking assurances over his long term future at Old Trafford now that David Moyes is in charge. Moyes has reportedly been looking to sign a new centre back and has made that his priority for the summer. The former Everton coach remains unconvinced that Jonny Evans is the right man for the task, whilst Rio Ferdinand, although he recently signed a new contract, is not expected to be able to continue to perform at the highest level for another two years.
31-year-old Nemanja Vidic is still very happy at Old Trafford, but it is known that Inter Milan have a long standing interest in acquiring the big Serb.
Man Utd have been persistently linked with a move for defender Ezequiel Garay, the Argentine defender who is being lined up as a potential replacement for Vidic.
