Arsenal want Chelsea's Superstar

Reports claim that the new Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho currently accepts just five players in his squad as indispensable and is ready to offload the rest if the right offer comes up. It seems it's bad news for anyone else not named Petr Cech, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard or Oscar.

Arsenal are willing to offer Torres an escape route from his disastrous career at Stamford Bridge.Arsenal would have to pay a fee in the £15-20m range to capture the Spanish International's signature.


This would definitely be a huge loss for Chelsea as the Spanish striker was bought from Liverpool for a fee of  £50m . If the Spaniard is to move across London, he will probably be joined by Gonzalo Higuain, who looks on the verge of completing his move from Real Madrid in the upcoming weeks provided no drama happens on eitherside.


The delay over Higuain's transfer due to a contract dispute has led to much agony for the Gunners fans who are desperate to see their side buy talented players this summer.


Media reports suggest that Arsenal have made a £20m bid for the Manchester United striker who is also being linked with Chelsea as well as PSG. The salary for the player has been the only stumbling block, which currently stands at £250,000 , a figure which would obliterate the Gunners wage structure.


Now Arsene Wenger has reverted to the only option which would be highly likely, that's the signing of Fernando Torres who would be a great partner for the incoming Higuain.
