Arsenal linked with summer move for Seamus Coleman
Arsenal could make a transfer move for right back Seamus Coleman next summer if Bacary Sagna refuses to sign a new deal. The Gunners' current first choice right back has been locked in talks with his club for over a year.
Arsenal have now identified Seamus Coleman as a possible replacement for Sagna should their French full back decide to quit the Emirates once his contract expires at the end of the season. Coleman will be a part of the Everton team visiting the Emirates today, giving Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger the perfect opportunity to see the Irish full back up close in action.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez is likely to rebuff any approaches for Coleman though, as the Toffees value the player very highly and hope to keep him a part of their first team plans for the forseeable future.
The Gunners have also been linked with numerous other right backs, with Southampton's star Nathaniel Clyne and Feyenoord starlet Daryl Janmaat among the names mentioned witha move to the Emirates.
