Liverpool eye move for James Milner
Liverpool are apparently mulling over a transfer offer for Manchester City midfielder James Milner, The People reports.
The England international failed to cement a regular spot in the City's line-up last season, with manager Manuel Pellegrini opting for the likes of Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri ahead of him in the pecking order.
Having spent much of last season as a super-sub, Milner is now looking at options elsewhere, as he is in his final year of his contract with the Premier League champions.
According to The People, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to offer the 28-year-old with a opportunity to re-ignite his career at Anfield, as he aims to boost this squad for their Champions League challenge next season.
Arsenal have also been linked with the former Aston Villa man.
