Chelsea prepared to offload Eden Hazard
Chelsea are willing to offer Eden Hazard in a swap deal for Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci. Blues boss Antonio Conte is desperate to bolster his defensive options in the winter transfer window.
The Sun reports that the West London giants will propose to place Hazard in a straight exchange deal which would see Bonucci join the club.
Bonucci, 29, has transformed into a world-class centre-back in his time at Juve, and Conte is keen on a reunion with the player as he seeks to add more steel his backline.
The Italy international previously plyed his trade under Conte at Juventus between 2011 and 2014. He also worked with the manager whilst he was the coach of the Azzurri.
Hazard has been far from his best over the past year for Chelsea, and the club's hierarchy are open to selling their star asset in an attempt to bring stability to the squad.
Meanwhile, Lazio's Felipe Anderson has been identified as a possible option to fill in at left-wing.
