Berahino looks to be on his way to Stoke City

After what seems like an eternity, the transfer soap opera that is the story of West Bromwich Albion's Saido Berahino, finally looks to be coming to an end.

The 23 year old striker has made it known for some time now that he wants to leave The Hawthorns, and his next destination will be Stoke City. Reports suggest that the fee for the transfer could rise to £15 million for the former England under-23 man, who has been determined to move away from the Midlands club.

With Berahino out of contract in the summer, Baggies manager Tony Pulis, who dropped the striker earlier in the season and placed him on a weight management plan, will be glad to have been able to receive a substantial fee, which he will be able to invest in players to bolster his squad. West Brom fans will have seen this coming, after constant speculation about his future and the fact that Berahino has turned down no less that three new contract offers.

Berahino will join Stoke's other attacking options Marko Arnautovic, Bojan, Peter Crouch, John Walters and Wilfried Bony at the bet365 Stadium, with The Potters currently sitting in ninth place in the English Premier League, after recovering from a poor start to the season.
