Guus Hiddink tipped for Leicester job?
Former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has emerged as a potential option to succeed Claudio Ranieri at Leicester City.
The Holland manager is likely to be offered a short-term role for the season as the Foxes seek to save the embarrassment of being relegated just a year after their historic Premier League triumph.
The search for a new head coach has been on for the past couple of days with ex-Premier League managers Roberto Mancini and Martin O'Neill both distancing themselves from contention.
Former boss Nigel Pearson has also been included in the Foxes' shortlist, but the champions are more focused on recruiting an experienced manager at the helm.
Hiddink has previous experience with Chelsea in Europe and the Foxes see him as one, who could extend their Champions League run in addition to their league survival.
Leicester City are currently trailing 2-1 to Sevilla in the last 16, but a 1-0 would be sufficient to progress them further thanks to Jamie Vardy's away goal at Estadio Ramon.
