It is no secret that Chelsea’s Willian has been one of the standout players in the Premier League for a number of seasons. With Chelsea, he has been outstanding on the wing, proving a wide-man can be both deadly in attacking and diligent in defence.

However, under Antonio Conte, the Brazilian has fallen out of favour. With the Italian preferring Pedro on the right, Willian has been forced to remain contented with appearances from the bench.

With this in mind, it is widely agreed upon that he will leave for a fresh challenge at the end of the season.

While America, China and France boast impressive spending power, it seems as though the Brazilian would be best off staying in the Premier League, and moving to rejoin Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

The Portuguese manager is said to be an admirer of Willian, and it would make sense for the winger to instigate a reunion with the manager. Mourinho is well known for preferring his wingers to boast both offensive and defensive abilities, which is something Willian has.

His pace, intelligence and ability to score crucial goals make him a deadly player, while he is never seen walking back to his own half with his work rate commendable. He is just far too good to sit on the bench at Chelsea

The major sticking point will be the fact that the Blues are unlikely to let him leave for a title rival though.

However, with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard not yet convincing, Willian could be the perfect tonic for Mourinho’s wing problems.
