Liverpool, Arsenal vying for Real Madrid winger?
Liverpool and Arsenal could reportedly go head-to-head in the pursuit of Real Madrid winger Lucas Vasquez during the summer.
The Spain international has been in impressive form for Los Blancos this term with seven goals and eight assists across all competitions.
Despite this, the 26-year-old is said to be eyeing a fresh challenge away from the Bernabeu in the summer with a view to earning a more prominent role from the starting lineup.
According to Diario Gol, the Spaniard's availability has alerted both Liverpool and Arsenal, who are eyeing reinforcements in the offensive department during the off-season.
The Reds are desperate to find a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who left for Barcelona in January whilst Arsenal are in a similar situation, having lost the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain over the past nine months.
Vasquez has spent all of his playing career barring one year at the Bernabeu. He has more than three years on his present deal with the reigning European champions.
