Xherdan Shaqiri to Liverpool ?
Rumours rounding up that the side from Merseyside will be stepping up their efforts to sign the Swiss international after the World Cup.
After the Reds attempt to sign Frenchman Nabil Fekir collapsed, they have now turned their attention towards the Stoke City man.
Shaqiri is very much interested for a move to the 5 time European Champions as Stoke City will be playing The Championship from next season and is expected to be available around £12 million pounds. Shaqiri has been the top scorer for the Potters last season with 8 goals.
Jurgen Klopp even though being an admirer of the 26 year old won't be eager to pay more than the said amount and he is expected to be an alternative to his current regular trident of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane rather than being one of his marquee signings.
Liverpool suffered at times last season in finding a proper replacement in the wide areas and it was evident in the Champions League final, where they could only get Adam Lallana in place of the injured Salah. Shaqiri will surely fill that void as he has the skill, pace and of course brilliant finishing to give the defenders a hard time.
