Liverpool hold no interest in Jack Grealish
Tottenham Hotspur have been offered a free run to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish this summer with Liverpool said to hold no interest in the 22-year-old.
Grealish has been earmarked as one of the prime targets in Spurs' shortlist for the summer but so far, they have yet to agree to the Villains' £30m asking price.
As a result, there had been claims that Liverpool may potentially rival for the Englishman's services but this suggestion has now been rebuffed by The Liverpool Echo.
According to the publication, the Reds are not anywhere keen on pursuing the Villa graduate and they are instead targeting a 'higher calibre of player' before the transfer deadline.
Lyon skipper Nabil Fekir remains the leading candidate in their wishlist although they have yet to restart talks following their disagreement with Les Gones earlier last month.
Fekir had undergone a medical and shot his introductory video with the Reds in June but the move was scuppered at the final hurdle with Jurgen Klopp's side having concerns over his recent injury record.
