Barcelona make another bid for Willian

Barcelona have made another bid of £55m for Chelsea winger Willian, according to Sky Sports.

This is the La Liga champions' third bid for the player after Chelsea rejected the last two which were £50m and £53m respectively.

Barca are looking to bolster their squad after the departure of Paulinho and Andres Iniesta at the end of last season.

Ernesto Valverde is also looking to bring in Willian's teammate Eden Hazard who could leave Stamford Bridge after six years.

Manchester United are also reported to be interested in Willian with Jose Mourinho being a fan, but there have been no reports of a United bid.

Under former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, Willian wanted to leave over a lack of playing time. That has not changed despite the arrival of Maurizio Sarri from Napoli.

The new Chelsea boss is reportedly keen to keep both Hazard and Willian, and it will be a wise decision to do so as players of their quality are difficult to find currently.
