£20M rated Liverpool outcast linked with Everton move set to receive offer from Turkish Giants
Liverpool outcast Divock Origi has been closely linked with a January exit. The Echo reported that the Reds are prepared to sell the Belgium international but have set a £20m asking price amid interest from Everton and Wolves.
Turkish-Football meanwhile reported that both Besiktas and Galatasaray are interested in the striker. The Super Lig sides are not prepared to match the Reds valuation and instead want Origi on loan.
Fanatik are now reporting that the Black Eagles are preparing an offer for the 21-year-old.As per the source, Besiktas will offer a loan deal with a buyout clause option included.
Origi is reportedly among one of three strikers on the shortlist alongside Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud and Wolfsburg striker Mario Gomez. Giroud has ruled out a move to Besiktas leaving just Gomez and Origi available.
The Black-Whites are under the watch of Financial Fair Play (FFP) and do not want to spend beyond their means in January. A loan move would be preferred.
Besiktas have made signing a striker a priority after Alvaro Negredo had his contract terminated by mutual consent ahead of his move to Al Nassr.
The Istanbul based outfit only have three strikers available; Vagner Love, Cyle Larin and Mustafa Pektemek. Neither were considered first-choice before Cenk Tosun and Negredo left.
