Wolverhampton Wanderers plan raid for Liverpool striker
Liverpool striker Divock Origi has reportedly emerged as a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the 2019 winter transfer window.
The west Midlands outfit are said to have made an enquiry over the Belgian's availability last summer and they are now prepared to revive their interest.
According to The Mirror, Wolves are among two clubs including Everton keen on the former Lille man, who has made just one competitive appearance for the Reds this term.
Origi has netted a decent tally of 21 goals from 78 appearances for the Reds to date but he is currently way down the pecking order with Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge preferred for the striker duties.
Liverpool are currently said to value Origi at around £20m and they are supposedly prepared to stick with the valuation despite him having only 20 months remaining on his existing deal.
Meanwhile, Wolves have fared impressively in the top-flight with Raul Jimenez leading the line but manager Nuno appears keen on another marksman, who can find the net at regular intervals.
