Spurs to return for Dybala in January

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly come up with a renewed bid to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus during the winter transfer window.

The Argentina international was linked with a late move to the Premier League with both Spurs and Manchester United interested but the deal was scuppered by the player's wages as well as the image rights.

According to The Star, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino remains a huge admirer of his compatriot and is prepared to make another attempt to lure the attacker at the turn of the year.

Dybala has been eager to fight for his position at the Bianconeri but so far, things have looked gloomy with the Argentine yet to start a game under the tutelage of Maurizio Sarri.

The 25-year-old is presently on international duty with Argentina and played through 70 minutes of the recent friendly against Chile which ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Spurs managed to pursue the services of Jack Clarke, Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso during the recently-concluded transfer window.
