Arsenal clear on Eddie Nketiah's future amid Leeds United form
Championship leaders Leeds United are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal for Eddie Nketiah as Arsenal hold no desire to part ways with their graduate.
The England Under-21 international was hugely impressive during the club's pre-season tour of the United States but he was still loaned out to the Peacocks amid his insistence to play regular first-team football.
Eddie has since shined for Marcelo Bielsa's side with four goals from six appearances in all competitions and this has included a couple of late league strikes against Brentford and Barnsley.
According to The Athletic, the Championship outfit have been impressed with the showing of their loanee and they could seek to pursue him on a permanent basis at the turn of the year.
However, their chances of sealing his services remain non-existent with Unai Emery's side holding no interest whatsoever in sanctioning the sale of the young marksman.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are presently the first-choice striking options at Arsenal but the latter is currently sidelined with an ankle problem until October.
