Liverpool identify Dejan Lovren replacement?
Liverpool have reportedly earmarked Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White as a possible replacement for wantaway defender Dejan Lovren.
White has yet to make a Premier League appearances for Graham Potter's side but he has hugely impressed on loan with Leeds United in the opening phase of the season.
According to Football Insider, scouts from the Reds have been keeping a close eye on the central defender, who has not missed a single minute of Championship action for the Peacocks.
It is added that they have been 'blown away' by the progress of the Seagulls graduate and he could be pursued by the Merseyside outfit when the season comes to a close.
Lovren has largely been out-of-favour under Jurgen Klopp this campaign and he has made just one league start this season. The Croatian has been touted to leave the Reds as early as the winter transfer window.
The Champions League holders currently have the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip ahead of Lovren in the selection order for the central defensive position.
